Returning to Learning, Rewriting the Story
At the beginning of the year, when I was struggling with my health, I couldn’t find it in me to do the publishing preparation I knew I needed to. As a way to take the pressure off, I decided to engage with some professional development and see if that would give me a different type of space to work within for a while.
It was challenging at times, and in this piece I share with you some of my experiences and reflections from taking the time to do some learning.

I miss you Mum
It’s often at this time of the year that I find myself reflecting on the things that are most important to me. I do miss my mum most days, and the holiday season amplifies that. Grief and gratitude frequently walk hand in hand.

Tears of Memories
Sometimes playing with a simple memory can open up doorways within. Fear not these doorways, for there is often magic to be found if only we have the courage to look.
I had a simple thought when I saw a lonely tea cup on a table. This thought led to the story that follows.

In hospital again
Will I ever again find the energy to slip things into gear?
My heart sinks but only a week ago I was watching the sun rise stretch across the sea.

I look at people around me every where, l see their power their strength and l know….
